The Lucky Ones - Helping Burn Victim Survivors In South Africa

Thousands of South Africans fall victim to severe burns every year. Sadly, a very small number of victims receive the correct medical care simply because there just aren’t enough medical professionals with the right expertise to treat burns.

*The few who are fortunate enough to get the correct medical care are the lucky ones.

With the help of donations, the South African Burn Society is training more burn specialists so there can be more lucky ones.

The lucky ones are fortunate enough to live with a better quality of life, despite what they’ve been through. Thanks to the correct medical care they’ve received they can carry on living their lives. They can still be a part of society. They are still able to chase their dreams and make them come true. They can go to school and work, and make something of themselves. They have the freedom to do things so many of us take for granted. Out of thousands of burn survivors these are a few of the lucky ones.
